The scam checker

The checker doesn't send or store your text. It runs entirely in your browser. What you paste isn't uploaded, saved, logged or shared, and the checker page loads no ads, analytics or third-party scripts. A strict security policy on that page blocks it from making any network connections. Closing or refreshing the page clears your text.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. ScamTells doesn't run its own analytics or accounts.
